Position: Press Brake/Turret Punch Operator 

Applicants will need to be competent, confident, well presented, and have a broad knowledge and experience in the interpretation of engineering drawings. The workshop utilises state-of-the-art technology such as CNC press brakes, CNC Laser cutting, CNC turret punching, although some training will be provided, experience in operating this machinery is required.


As an ideal candidate the following skills and attributes are required:

  • Experience in operating CNC Press Brake, CNC Turret, and other metalworking machinery
  • Ensures work meets required quality control standards
  • Can read engineering drawings and do basic mathematics
  • Keen to learn and master new skills
  • Tidy work ethics
  • Current Forklift license

Personal attributes:

  • Be reliable and punctual
  • motivated with the ability to work quickly and accurately while unsupervised
  • Good work ethics and a team player
  • Ability to follow set instructions and procedures

You may also be asked to undertake other duties within various departments to achieve delivery targets. Regular hours will be 6.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and overtime offered on Fridays if available.

Position: Design/Drafting Engineer

The applicant is required to be able to prepare and design proposals and drawings for quotation purposes, as well as create detailed manufacturing and production drawings using the software INVENTOR in accordance with Standards and Codes of Practice in a timely manner.


The applicant is to maintain procedures to control and verify the product design in order to ensure that the specified requirements are met including technical data.


As an ideal candidate the following skills and attributes are required:

  • Experience in creating and preparing engineering proposals and quotations.
  • Proven Experience in using Inventor for manufacturing and production drawings.
  • An Engineering Qualification
  • Attention to detail and a practical aptitude.
  • A working knowledge of New Zealand design codes and practices.
  • The ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude to add value within a team environment.
